How to change the colour of the header in email notifications?

Hi I am wanting to change the header colour of all my standard e-mail notifications from white to black. My logo is white and I want the background of the header to be black. Please can you help me with the code and where to place it ? Thanks

You can try the following steps I have provided to help you solve the problem you are facing:

Step 1: Go to Admin > Settings > Notifications

Step 2: Select & Click the template your want to edit

Step 3: After you click and enter to the template, please click “Edit code” at top right.

Step 4: In the email template code, please add the code

.body {color: red;}

Step 5: Change the color hex code to fit your needs.

Step 6: Save the change.

Thanks for responding Amelia. I am only looking to change the top of the email - the header section where my logo is. Is there a way to change only the header and not the whole email body?
