Hello! I’m very new to Shopify but getting very confused. On the default Dawn theme and on all the previews, the top menu is horizontal across the top of the page like the below picture:
However when I click into my store I only have a side menu as below:
I haven’t changed any settings except the pages in the menu, how do I get the horizontal menu across the top as in the first picture? I am using the Dawn theme.

Thanks. I’ve actually just gone to the webpage and it appears to have a horizontal menu, but on the customise theme view, it has the expanded side-menu. Is this just an interface thing where it’s actually horizontal but in that preview/customise theme mode it’s set to a side bar?

That might be a function of screen size. Try switching between mobile and desktop. Jb
