How to change website for other markeds?

Tried to change the shopify website for only usa. Created USA marked and changed the website. But it doesnt work.

1. Ensure USA Market is Properly Set Up- Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Markets.

  • Check that you have created a market specifically for USA and it’s set as active.
  • Verify that other international markets (like “International” or specific countries) are disabled.

2. Check Store’s Geolocation Settings- Shopify relies on geolocation for redirecting customers to their proper market.

  • Install Shopify’s Geolocation App from the Shopify App Store if you haven’t already.
    • It ensures users in other countries are prompted to visit the appropriate market.

3. Currency and Shipping Restrictions- Go to Settings > Shipping and delivery:

  • Ensure shipping zones are configured only for the USA.
  • Go to Settings > Payments:
    • Ensure payment gateways allow transactions only for USA-based customers.
  • Go to Settings > Markets > USA Market > Edit:
    • Ensure pricing and currency are configured for the USA only.

4. Block Other Countries Using an App

If you’re still seeing traffic or orders outside the USA, you can block visitors from other countries:

  • Use apps like “EasyCountry Blocker” or “GeoIP Redirect”.
  • These apps can:
    • Redirect non-USA visitors to a specific page.
    • Block access entirely.

5. Check Website Caching or Propagation- If you recently changed these settings, the changes might take time to reflect.

  • Clear your browser’s cache or check the website in incognito mode.
  • Test from a VPN or ask someone in another country to confirm the behavior.

6. Review Your Theme or Code- If you’ve customized the theme or code, ensure no hardcoded links or settings bypass the market restrictions.

  • Check for third-party scripts that might override geolocation.

You can follow the instruction here:

  1. Go to Shopify > Settings > Market > Add market here.

In this section under settings, you can add it for each country. Each country can display the same or different from the default
