How to choose the best theme for my ecommerce store?

I want to be sure I am choosing a good theme to start out.

I need the following. I am not sure if these are all theme level or just settings.

Pick up Availability

Variant product images

Gift cards

Photo Gallery Page outside of products (Stand alone, with navigation)

Customizable Forms

Does anyone have any thoughts or know where I can get some help? Shopify chat was not helpful.

Here is a quick input from my end:

  • Pick up Availability - this is available on most of recent themes
  • Variant product images - this is supported by default
  • Gift cards - this is supported by default
  • Photo Gallery Page outside of products (Stand alone, with navigation) - this is not a standard feature and you will need to use an app or custom code this page
  • Customizable Forms - Most of premium themes should support this
