How to completely remove reviews from your theme?

Hello ,

We used Shopify Reviews app by Shopify to collect and post reviews on our website, however recently we have decided to switch to another reviews app which offers email function. So, we went ahead and uninstalled Reviews app from our theme however the star rating is still showing on our home page under the products that had reviews. The ratings didnt disappear and we dont know how to remove them.

We tried to reinstall the reviews app so we could remove the ratings manually, however it appears that the app doesn`t exist anymore.

Thank you for your response,

We used Reviews App by Shopify which we couldn`t find after we uninstalled it.

It looked like this

We were able to resolve the issue only by duplicating the existing products that had rating and then removing the original product listings.

everything seems to be working properly now
