Hello, as a direct-to-consumer store owner on Shopify, I have a couple of questions regarding customer transactions. First, if a customer has placed an order on our store and the payment has been deducted from their account, but the funds are being held by a third-party payment service such as PayPal, Apple Pay, or Shopify, could you please confirm whether this is the case? I would like to ensure that I can confidently ship the customer’s order. Second, how can I change the order status from ‘Order confirmation sent to customer’ to ‘Shipped’ once the order has been dispatched? This will help me manage my orders more efficiently. Additionally, what happens if I ship the order to the customer but do not receive payment?
I want to make sure that in order to place an order on an online store, customers need to have the corresponding amount deducted from their account. Is this correct?
