I am trying to connect Shopify Collabs to my Instagram account but when I click connect, it opens the Instagram app and that’s it? It doesn’t do anything? Help please!

I recommend first trying some local troubleshooting steps to see if that resolves the issue. You can clear your cache and cookies and/or use an incognito window, and try to connect your Instagram account again.
If the issue persists, I’d be happy to investigate further. Can you confirm whether you have a Business Instagram account (connected to a Facebook page) or a Basic Instagram account? The troubleshooting steps will be different depending on the type of account!

I am having the same issue. I cannot seem to get my Instagram account to connect to my Collab profile. It launched instagram and then a blank profile and says “user not found”. I have a business account.
