It would be my pleasure to help you get started with designing your website. Would you be able to tell me a little bit more about the kind of store/product you’re looking to launch?
No matter which type of product you’re looking to sell, we have a general guide on getting started with Shopify that I find most helpful to get your toes wet with our platform.
You’ll essentially be looking at 4 sections of settings to address when creating up your store:
- Setting up your products and collections
- Looking through your general store management Settings such as taxes, shipping etc
- Designing your **theme/storefront **and navigation menus
- Reviewing your store preferences
Visually, you can navigate your admin settings this way:
This route will take you through the important steps to address and slowly but surely you’ll become more comfortable with the layout of the admin. Eventually, you can look into Pages, Blogs, Discounts and Apps to enhance what you’ve already set up.
I know it can be daunting at first but we’re here whenever you have a question.
