How to correct an error in a Google Rich Snippet

Google Search Console returns the error, “Target URL domain is outside the website URL domain” each time a page is added. My store uses an old theme from a previously run store, and the Google Rich Snippet still points to that old description and URL. How can I update the information in the Google Rich Snippet so that it displays the correct information?
