Hi friends, does anyone know if there is a way to create a module that shows your item’s price, and compare it to an “estimated retail price.” Something like this:
or this:
You could probably do it manually, with just text boxes, but that seems like a lot of work for 400+ products. Was hoping there was a way to create a new value tag on a product and have it be “estimated retail price” and pull that into the product page.
@jangobango first, locate the product template file in your theme, typically product.liquid or product-template.liquid or the correct file.
Then, insert the following code where you want the pricing information to appear:
{% if product.compare_at_price > product.price %}
Estimated Retail Price: ~~{{ product.compare_at_price | money }}~~
Our Price: {{ product.price | money }}
You Save:
{{ product.compare_at_price | minus: product.price | times: 100 | divided_by: product.compare_at_price | round }}%
{% else %}
Price: {{ product.price | money }}
{% endif %}
Please note the code is not tested.
