How to create a looping video collage on Dawn theme?

Hello!

I am using Dawn theme: www.eleanorantonio.com

I like the idea of using a multimedia collage for a portfolio page with videos and images in a multi-column/row format. However I have two problems.

  1. If I use the standard multimedia collage format, the video does not auto-play and loop.

  2. If I use custom liquid to insert a video (as on my homepage), I don’t know how to then split the section like a collage, I only have the code for the width but not how to add another element to the section. Even if I was ok with all videos being full width/one-column sections, I don’t know how to create left/right margins so that the videos at least align with the rest of the multimedia box.

Does anyone have a template compatible with Dawn theme that would give me a multimedia collage section where videos auto-play?

There is a way to have your videos autoplay right when the page loads, but it will take some custom code. I’ve done something similar to this before on another theme.
