Hoping this makes it so someone at Shopify that is open to suggestion. Please consider making an inventory pull sheet in addition to the already existing packing slips. It would be great to have all items for new orders summarized in one list so that I can go pull everything then bring back downstairs to match with the packing slip. Just a thought…if this exists already, please tell me how. Thanks! ![]()
Topic summary
A user requests a feature to generate inventory pull sheets (pick lists) that consolidate items from new orders into a single list. This would streamline warehouse operations by allowing staff to collect all items first, then match them with individual packing slips.
Current Solutions Available:
- Native Shopify options: Order notification emails or setting up custom fulfillment services to receive item lists via email
- Third-party apps: Multiple warehouse pick list and order printing template apps exist in the Shopify App Store
- Advanced tools: Scriptable solutions like Mechanic.dev for generating custom PDFs from order data
- Warehouse optimization: Using metafield definitions to assign aisle/shelf/bin locations for products
One respondent recommends a specific inventory management app (SkuSavvy) that creates digital pick lists, assembles pick batches, and includes visual warehouse layout tools. The app connects directly with Shopify and offers free trial accounts.
The discussion remains open, with at least one other user expressing strong interest in this functionality.

If you have a large inventory use metafield definitions to give products/variants aisle/shelf/bin locations
Pick list app discussions -
This one has a checklist hack in order confirmation emails, though I’d recommend trying it in a different email template customers don’t see.
Here is an app built for this purpose. That is to say, it will pull your orders in from Shopify, and hold the location of those items around the warehouse so the system will assemble pick batches or orders.
It’s a digital picklist that connects with a Shopify app. Try it out with a full free account. You can see YouTube video demos and the docs to see if the system will match your full-needs.
YES!!!
