How To Create and Sell A Customized Advertising Book

I want to create a customized ad book for our organization. It will be similar to a phone book (if you remember those) or something you might find at a church or school. I will have different size ads available for purchase and customization.

I was thinking of offering different pre-designed templates for the ads which I would create in Canva. I want customers to be able to add their own text and logos etc. I will also offer a blank template for total cusomization. So, for instance, a customer might chose a 1/4 page ad with a blue background and custom text. Or, a full-page add with an image and text uploaded by them.

They would be paying for space in the book which I will print and distribute myself.

I guess I would use some sort of customizer app like KickFlip. Once the closing date arrives, I will take the ads I have, lay them out, and print the book for the group it will be distributed to.

Is this the right approach? Is there an app that is best for this? Is there an easier way to do this? I would appreciate any input you have!

If you’d like to offer options for customers to choose from and allow them to upload their logo or files, you might want to consider using the Easify Product Options app. For example, you can use Image Swatches to display pre-designed templates and File Upload for customers to add their text or logo.
