I am offering FREE SHIPPING on my website for the month of February. My question is how can I create “free shipping” only using USPS Ground rates? I have consumers buying from different parts of the country. I tried to use a dollar amount but the problem is if you live in the East coast, it gives you the option of 3 day shipping with UPS (which I don’t want to do) and if you live in the West coast the amount doesn’t show up as free shipping since costs are more expensive shipping from East to West coast.
Any suggestions? I’m currently using rates from UPS (3 rates) and USPS (2 rates).
If you are using an app like the Multi Carrier Shipping Label app to offer USPS carrier-calculated rates, which includes an option for price adjustments, you may apply a -100% adjustment only to USPS Ground Rates.
This way, free shipping will be offered only for USPS Ground rates; for all other services, actual rates will be offered at checkout. Additionally, if USPS Ground Service is not available at any location, the free USPS Ground service will not be offered.
