Hi,

I am launching my website. The fulfilment center is using MintSoft.

Who is supposed to create the Products ?

Is it Warehouse on the Warehouse Management System and then update the Shopify Site from MintSoft?

Or is it us creating all products on Shopify?

We Do NOT have the barcodes, so if we create products on Shopify then how can the WareHouse identify the Products when the Products are delivered by the supplier to the warehouse (maybe only names which may not always match)?

We have SKUs for all proucts which are not on the product packs delivered by the supplier.

If you are sell product Drop Shipping so the supplier will take care to package and delivery to customer, and you just import product information provide by supplier.

If you are supplier you need make detail product info to shipping service.

We are NOT doing drop shipping. We are using a 3PL company to do the fulfilment of our orders.

They receive the products on our behalf and send to customers.

If we create the products then how can the warehouse identify them? We use only SKUs.

So you can async SKU or Barcode of product between Shopify and Warehouse, you can check and setting here.

When your store has order the 3PL company will check info product on that order to delivery to your customer.

If you need to create product listings, you can use the Scan2Sell App. It will work with either scanning a barcode or taking a picture of a physical product and then auto generate a title and description for upload to Shopify.
