How to Customize Image on "All Products" page

Topic summary

A user working with the Atelier theme needed to customize the header image on their “All Products” collection page without affecting other collection pages. The default setup linked all collection page images together, so changing one changed them all.

Problem: Modifying the image in theme customization settings affected all collection pages simultaneously, not just the “All Collections” page.

Solution provided:

  1. Create a new collection template named “All” in the theme editor
  2. Create a new collection containing all products and set its URL to collections/all via Search Engine Listing settings
  3. Assign the newly created “All” template to this collection
  4. Customize images independently—keep the image block on the default collection template while removing or modifying it on the “All” template

This approach allows separate customization for the all-products page while preserving default settings for other collections. The solution was confirmed successful by the original poster.

I am using the Atelier theme and I have a page that shows all products at once. My default product page is set up to display my vendor image on their pages. How can I customize the image for the “all” page? If I change the image on this page, it changes every product page image as well (which I don’t want to do).

Here is the page I am referring to. The image that I’d like to change is the giant purple/pink image.

@Jenn561 Seems like there is image block in all collections page. Just go to customize settings of your theme and open all collections page and you will see the block in the left side…From there you can change the image. Let me know if you need any more help. Thank you

I have tried that and it also changes it for my other collections pages as well. I just want to change the “All Collections” page without changing the default collection.

Hi @Jenn561 ,

One way I know to do this.

1. In the theme editor create a new collection template called “All”

2. Create a new collection that is set to have all products, at the bottom of the collection find “Search Engine Listing”
Change the URL of this to collections/all

3. Set the collection template to the one you created e.g “All” (Only templates created from the live theme will show)

4. With this updated in the theme editor you can then keep the image block on the “default-collection” template and remove it from the “All” template

Hope that works and helps you out!
