How to display descriptions and sub-collections in Brooklyn theme?

Hi all, I am trying to do a couple of things with collection pages in Brooklyn and wanted to ask for advice please. I use Brooklyn and Mega Menu for sub-menu items.

  1. I would like to be able to display the description within a collection split between the top (short description) and bottom (long description) - is there an app that will allow me to do this?

  2. I would like to be able to display the sub-collections on each main collection page, preferably with a graphic, but as a minimum as a menu - is there an app you are aware of that can help with this?

@moodymabel - using split code liquid coding short and long description can be done, but it needs some code editing.

2] all sub collections can be displayed using menu, like create new menu sub collections and using coding this menu is displayed on collection pages only, it will show all sub menus

Thanks for replying. If possible Iā€™d like to do both things using apps rather than coding.
