How to display dropdown menu only on desktop for Turbo theme?

Hi there,

I am trying to minimize the number of clicks on mobile for my shopify shop. Now i can get this to work so that the visitor only has to click the menu item on mobile and then they can select the collections directly from the drop down.

Now this kind of messes up the desktop experience as all collections are now stated in the header.

Is there any workaround to show a drop down on desktop. E.g. in the header it states “shop now” and on hover it drops down the collections?

Sounds like something simple, but struggling with it.
FYI: we are on the Turbo theme of OOTSB

In turbo theme this option is already available. Check here in turbo demo https://demos.outofthesandbox.com/?theme=Turbo&style=Portland second menu is 'Shop and on click it show list of collections. You can use same.

I know that, but that results in an extra click on mobile which i like to avoid (makes a big difference in CRO).
In the demo on mobile they have to click the menu button, then the shop button and then choose the collection.

What i would like to avoid is that extra click, but then it shows a huge menu on desktop
