I would like any variant that has less than 3 quantity available to display as out of stock to customers (see photo).
I’ve read at least two instances where this may be accomplished by coding the product page ( https://community.shopify.com/post/1984818 and https://www.reddit.com/r/shopify/comments/143aknh/comment/jn8yi0p/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 )
I’m using Prestige theme. Have been unable to locate where and how such code would be inserted, or if this method is even still valid. Would be open to other ways of accomplishing this as well. I can’t alter the inventory level itself though, as it is being automatically updated from our brick and mortar POS. I don’t want to accidentally oversell items on the website that we may have already sold out of in the store (or had the last available item stolen or damaged).
