Since you can only put one photo as the main product photo, how do you let shoppers know that there may be more colors or style options without making them click on each product.
For example. If the product is a hat and the photo showing is the pink hat, how can I have something under it that says “more options available” so they know to click on it to see what the other colors are in stead on scrolling past because they don’t want pink?
Topic summary
Main issue: Indicate that a product has multiple color/style options when only one main photo shows in listings (e.g., pink hat), ideally with a “more options available” note under the product card to encourage clicks.
Suggested approach:
- Use Shopify product variants for color options, following the official guide (product variants = different configurations like color/size under one product).
- For showing “more options available” on collection/product tiles, theme customization may be required.
Next steps offered:
- Add variants per the Shopify manual link provided.
- Share the store URL and clarify customization needs to receive a tailored solution (e.g., adding a badge/text on product cards based on variant count).
