I’m quite new to shopify but I’ve googled a lot and tried to read up to this for a long time but I can’t find an answer so I hope she can help me.
I’m working on launching my first store in shopify, so there are some things I want and get in place if possible.
What I want is a stock status of the product and variants on the product page itself and on the front page so that my customers will be able to see whether the product is in stock or not in stock without having to click on the product.
So if someone scrolls on my page, they will see if a product is in stock or if it is out of stock item without having to click on the product, while if a customer clicks on a product that says in stock, when you get in to the product it will say how many are in stock.
You can absolutely achieve what you are looking for. When it comes to products stating in stock, or sold out; most themes come with the ability to add a ‘sold out’ label to out of stock products in the collection page. If you can provide your theme name I can let you know if it provides this feature and how to enable it.
When it comes to the stock count listing on the product page, this is something you will most likely need an app for. A great option is Sold Count: Sold Stock Counter. This app has loads of features from displaying stock count, to listing how many have sold to create urgency in your shoppers.
