Hi,
If I fill out custom product types with certain products, is there a link created I can use to display only those products? If so, what would it be?

A user wants to link directly to products filtered by custom product type without creating additional collections. They already have many collections and are looking for an alternative approach.

User’s Concern:
Status: The discussion remains unresolved as the suggested collection-based approach doesn’t fit the user’s requirements. They’re seeking a more direct filtering method, possibly URL-based or tag-based.

Hi @illulief ,
Thanks for reaching out here.
To provide the best advice possible please let me know if you are looking to categorize products that have a certain Type within one collection?
If so, I’d love to guide you on how to achieve that. First you have to add Type to all products you want to include in the mentioned collection. In you case, the screenshot is showing Type: setFDL. Once you’re happy that all products are added, head over to Collections section and click Create collection. Add collection title and optionally a description.
Then select ‘Automated’ collection type and your conditions should be as it shows below. Make sure to save changes in the top right corner. And there you have it, a collection of setFDL type products. You can always find it under Collections section in admin.
To display this collection on your storefront you can add it to your main navigation. Head over to Online Store>Navigation>Main Menu. Select ‘Add menu item’ and then search your collection in the dropdown under ‘Link’. Click Add & Save changes.
You can find more information about navigation here.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, but this is not what I’m looking for. I already have VERY many collections and don’t want to create more.
Maybe this isn’t the way to go, but what I want it:
I have collections of products, but also offer them separately and in the description I want to add a link to those. I suppose I could use the tags, but not everything is in the same collections (if you know what I mean).
