This seems like it should be extremely easy, but I have yet to figure out how to accomplish this. Basically my wife wants to have a button on her store that will display a random value (an answer to a hypothetical question) from a list of possible answers. Imagine “Question blah blah ” which will display a random answer.
I have tried to accomplish this with metafields to no avail. These would not be tied to products, really just a section on the home page for a silly feature.
I’ve attempted the method detailed here: https://www.slicedbread.agency/blogs/shopify/randomizing-content-in-shopify but it’s not working (we’re using Dawn theme and cannot get new sections to show up in the theme editor after adding them by editing the code.)
