How to display total item weight on e-commerce cart page?

Hi.

I am in the middle of setting up my B2C e-commerce store and have imported all my items with their weights. I would like to show the total weight of the items that have been added to the cart on the cart page. I need this as the fulfilment company I am using require weights in order to quote me on prices for picking/packing.

I’d be most grateful if somebody could tell me the correct code to add and where to add this in the theme file.

I have read discussion posts on this but the codes provided do not seem to be working for me.

You can use following code in to your cart file where you want to display total weight:

{{cart.total_weight}}

It need to add in to your theme file not editor and it’s depends on theme. Share me your store url, I will send request for the admin access. You will get an email, just accept request from there and I will fix that code in proper way.

Hey wanted to ask. My pounds and ounces aren’t displaying correctly. It’s showing 1 lbs 69 oz for 1.69 pounds. This is confusing customers. Can you help?
