In my homepage, I have a slideshow which shows different slides…
Shopify changes the dimension for desktop vs mobile, so the image shows up horribly on mobile (parts of it are all cropped). It makes sense because the image is one that looks good on desktop in a wide size, but not in a mobile size. So all I want is to be able to have one image for desktop, and one other image for mobile.
Ideally, I would also love to be able to do this for each language. One image for English, one for french.
So in total :
1 French Image for Mobile
1 French Image for Desktop
1 English Image for Mobile
1 English Image for Desktop
My theme is Symmetry.
I need to have the option to insert the different images in my theme customizer when I go to the slideshow, but also, for the website to show each different image for each different situation.
I have been trying to figure this out for 15+ hours and I am lost. I am very beginner level with coding…
Any help would mean the world!

@coraliegc - for now just focus on English site
1 - so please add 2 images in separate sections in customizer, both desk one and mobile one
2 - then using css we can hide the unwanted image based on device, so on desk, mobile image will be hidden and vice-versa
3 - you can follow same thing for French site

How do I do that ? When I customize my slideshow in my theme, there is only one area to insert a picture
