How to edit the About page layout in Craft theme?

Hi everyone,

I’m fairly new to Shopify but getting on fine so far. One major issue though…

Perhaps I have a dodgy install of the Craft theme but if you look at the demo: https://themes.shopify.com/themes/craft/styles/default/preview and go to the footer and click on the ‘About’ you’re taken to a visually rich page. In my theme when I either go to Pages and edit the About page, or add a New Page…the only options I have is the text/html editor for adding and lying out content.

Am I missing something? Seems a little misleading to show layouts etc in the demo that aren’t actually included when you install the theme.

@Magee If you want to design your page as per your design layout then you have to follow below steps-

  1. Go to Online Store

  2. Edit Code

  3. Add/Create Template > Give the name to template > write code in it > Save

  4. Go to Pages > New Page > in the right side select the template from the drop down which you have created above step number 3

@Magee for that you can create footer menu in menu option and fetch it over here in customize section :

@Ujjaval Thanks for this and the screenshot. I’ve attached one here too. You’ll see from it that This double column layout doesn’t seem to exist in my theme. I can add the footer menu item and brand info fine, but the content is centred and only set within one column, with no options to adjust the layout (other than the menu items etc)
