The shipping prices in Settings > Shipping > Zones can be set to weight based or order price based. As can be seen here. When both of them ( price and weight based rules) are set it allows us to choose the shipping on the checkout page.
I want to change this logic to actually add both the shipping prices determined by the 2 rules. Say the weight based rules, determine the shipping price is $20 and order price based rules say the shipping price is $15. I want the total of $35 price of shipping to be displayed on the checkout page and no option to be provided to choose any of the shipping. Also, the order price based rules should actually be based on the individual product prices and summed up instead of the order price.
I checked the theme files and the checkout liquid page template is not present for me to alter the shipping logic. How can I get this template to edit or set the shipping charges as described in some other way?

@KetanKumar I do not have the Shopify plus plan. Is there any plugin or app in shopify that allows us to customize the shipping logic in the required way?

But there has to be someway, correct? If a Shopify store on a basic plan can get access to a market place app that customizes the shipping portion, certainly there’s a way through?

Ketan, I have a quick question for you before I go digging into the admin API. Is there a way I can pass a shipping rate to the webUrl checkout? I am considering doing my shipping rates outside of Shopify. I plan on doing this by generating the shipping rate prior to checkout during the shopping phase. Currently, my headless store handles registration so I have access to the customer’s shipping information. Once that shipping rate is generated through my own means, I will simply send over the shipping rate to the final checkout for payment. Is this possible?
