How to effectively restock returned custom products online and in-store?

Hi folks,

My challenge is when I received a return item or product and I need to add it to a “in-stock” collection, since we made “custom products” and each product is unique it really create a challenge with my online catalog and I hate the solution that Shopify is offering me, which is to duplicate this product and rename it …no only this is painful but time consuming…plus I have 14 variants for each product, hence my frustration and challenge.

Bottom line, I need to be able to put this product back in some sort of “in stock collection” to be able to sell it back online and in my physical store.

Any ideas or suggestions? I hope I am not the only one going over this painful experience…
