How to enable Filters in shopify stores with vintage themes

Hi,

I want to know if and how can we make the filters visible in the storefront for stores that have shopify vintage theme[boost 1.3.1]. I have added the metafield definition and added the required filter values to the products.

The “filters” are enabled using shopify search & discovery app. But since filters are supported for stores having shopify theme 2.0, I want to understand a workaround to make this possible for stores with vintage themes. Really appreciate any help in this regard.

Maybe try out some other filter apps, mostly all filter apps supporting Shopify theme 1.0 as well?
