Hi, my Shopify orders are connected to my ShipStation (what our fulfillment team uses for shipping), that is connected to my Stamps.com account. On ShipStation, or stamps.com, we have the option of choosing GlobalPost for shipping, but I can’t figure out how to let my customers choose GlobalPost shipping when checking out on Shopify. I would love to let my international customers have a cheaper option.
Because ShipStation is a third-party app, its integration and functionality is directly supported by the app developers themselves. So it’s best to query their Support Team so that they can perhaps take a look into your account directly and provide best next steps for you. You can contact them via the Support heading on their app page here.
Alternatively, you can also get in touch with our Support Advisor team via our Help Centre here. From there, we can provide account-specific support and take a look at the app from our end. Though ultimately, the app is still supported by the app developers themselves. So our team may need to get in touch with the app developers too as our scope of support is limited when it comes to third-party apps.
As you’re currently looking to maximise your shipping strategies, I also recommend going through our Shopify Blog here for some helpful tips on how you can reduce shipping costs.
To add GlobalPost as a shipping option on your store, you’ll need to integrate a third-party shipping app. There are a few options on our App Store here, but a couple of popular ones that look to offer shipping rates from GlobalPost are ShipStation and ShippingEasy.
As these shipping apps are developed by third-party developers outside of Shopify, you can get in touch with their support team directly if you have any app-specific queries. Their contact information can be found under the ‘Support’ heading if you scroll down to the bottom of their app listing links I shared above.
Let me know what you think of these apps!
In the meantime, is there anything else that you’re currently working on that we can help with?
Ah, I see. I recommend checking with the stamps.com support team directly as they’re best equipped to confirm their shipping carrier integrations. They’ll be able to verify whether or not they offer GlobalPost shipping rates on their app.
Are you currently using ShipStation on your store? Can you also clarify what you mean by doing all of your labels in Shopify?
According to their app listing, ShipStation seems to offer shipping label printing via their app too. Our native Shopify Shipping feature allows merchants to purchase and print shipping labels for specific shipping carriers and fulfilment locations only. You can find which carriers and locations we currently support in this help guide. At this stage, as GlobalPost isn’t a part of Shopify Shipping, you’ll still need to install a third-party app to help not only offer GlobalPost shipping rates on your store, but to also print their shipping labels too.
@Kimi_2 i want to stop using shipstation and print all of my shipping labels from shopify. i sent stamps an email and they wanted me to call some number, so i told them to take my response and forward it to their developers. i am not spending anymore time fixing their problem.
As previously mentioned, GlobalPost isn’t currently a shipping carrier partner of Shopify Shipping, meaning you won’t be able to print GlobalPost shipping labels directly via the Shopify admin.
Where is your business located? If you’re open to use one of our supported shipping carrier partners within your region, as listed on this guide, then you’ll be able to use Shopify Shipping to print your shipping labels natively via the Shopify admin.
