Thank you for the reply. I have managed to resolve the issue, and to help everyone here who has the same issue, what I did

was you have to give the shopify POS app permission to use NFC in your phone. Once thats done, you can go to the POS app >

settings > set up hardware >. And you will see “Tap to pay on android” as a hardware type.
