According to the documentation for assigning linear gradient colors for the background :

the output does not show as default as shown there…
and the gradient button is greyed out… on clicking nothing happens (screenshot attached)
this is set in block settings in the section schema (screenshot attached)
How does it get enabled? what am I missing here?
Anyone if they have encountered the same problem and solved it, pl let me know.
