I manage a store which sells multiple items in multiple size variants.
Shopify’s Inventory History is incredibly useful for giving me an idea of which sizes / variants sell best - and thus, which sizes / variants to order greater quantities of when restocking.
However, tallying all of this data up manually is, naturally, very time consuming. Is there a way to export the inventory history of an item’s variants to a CSV, for advanced data analysis?
Hi @EHS_Design
This is something we can setup as a free custom sheet on the Sheet Master app https://apps.shopify.com/sheet-master (currently free)
One caveat though, we work with inventory history only from the time of installation of the app - if this works, please email me at anto@comstack.co

Hi, I created Inventory History Guardian specifically to address this issue in Shopify.
It records the daily inventory of each variant/SKU and allows you to export it as a CSV so you can analyse your stock and forecast when you should reorder.
