How to Export Products, Customers, Orders all at once from BigCommerce to Shopify using Matrixify

I am using Matrixify app in Shopify to migrate from BigCommerce to Shopify, Is there a way to export Products, Customers, and Orders all at once from BigCommerce to Shopify using Matrixify, without having to manually export them one by one? .. I used the API they gave in settings in BigCommerce but its just importing the products thats it.. What setting I need to configure to ensure I can get all of the above at once through an api, instead of manual export through csv.

Indeed you are correct. Our currently developed process is just for the Products migration from BigCommerce to Shopify.

You sure can still migrate your data but it would be a lot more manual process. You would need to export data from the current platform to a spreadsheet file and then manually convert it to our template for import. We do not have any specific dedicated developed feature in the app to directly migrate Customers and Orders from BigCommerce to Shopify.

So it would be the same as any other custom migration as there is no tutorial or process with exact steps for such migration.

Matrixify can export Customers, Orders, and Products from BigCommerce but might need separate calls to the API for each. Try using Matrixify’s built-in BigCommerce export or exporting Customers and Orders manually as CSV. If the API is not pulling all data, check permissions or contact Matrixify support for help.

You can do it but it requires setting up the right export settings.

  • In Matrixify, go to Import and select BigCommerce as the source. Ensure you’ve granted API permissions for Orders and Customers, not just Products.
  • In BigCommerce API Settings, check if the API token has access to Orders and Customers data. If it only allows Product export, create a new API token with full read access to all data types.
  • Also, In Matrixify, set up a bulk export by selecting Products, Customers, and Orders as data types. If some data is missing, try exporting each separately from BigCommerce and merging them in Matrixify before uploading to Shopify.

If you’re moving from BigCommerce to Shopify, the key step is getting clean exports first. BigCommerce lets you export products, customers, and orders as CSV files. From there you’ll want to map the columns so they match Shopify’s expected format. Products are usually straightforward, customers are manageable, but orders can take a bit more work because of line items, taxes, and fulfillment fields.

A good approach is to start with a small test import. Try importing a handful of products and a few customers/orders first so you can catch any formatting issues before running the full migration.
