How to fit mixed aspect ratio images into one container?

Hi,

I am using Dawn 8.0.0 and I have an issue with mixed aspect ratio images. This way my product grid looks like this.

Is there a way to make them fit in the same “container” like the picture below?

Step 1: Go to Online Store->Theme Settings

Step 2: Click here:

In each Section Product grid there will be this setting and You can change it here:

I use that settings that you mentioned, unfortunately this is exactly why it shows differently. What I am trying to accomplish is more like a static product grid (for example if I choose 1:1 square for all of them). I was trying to reduce the overall look for the portrait and landscape format images so both of them look the same size but with a 90degree rotation.

Is there a way to do that or some other solution?

Hi Richard,

Your idea was good, but it squeezed the images into the square format cropping the edges. However, I managed to workaround the issue by photoshopping the images into square formats like this.
