Need help with our site - both mobile and desktop are showing a 403 message and the SSL is pending in the domain - we were not given any warning about this so now the site is down - will it be down for 48 hours? Please help

When it comes to errors like this related to the SSL, there are a few things you can check to make sure everything is in order. First, you will need to make sure that your domain is properly connected to Shopify, and specifically make sure it has the following:
- The A record must be pointing to 23.227.38.65
- The CNAME record must be pointing to shops.myshopify.com
If this is all set up correctly, next you must check if your doing has any AAA or CAA records - if those are present, they block the SSL from going through, so you should make sure to remove them. Make sure you contact your domain provider’s support if you need any help with the process of removing those records.
Lastly, once you have done all of the above, please get in touch with our support here so we can then provision your SSL cert for you.
