How to fix domain transfer issues to a new platform?

I transferred my domain to shopify and have had issues ever since. I cannot preview my store. It just brings me to a page that states, “this site cannot be reached.” When I go to Domains it states, “action required” and “set up in progress,” but does not give me any guidance as to what needs to be completed. I have gone through all of the guides that I can find on this topic, however, I have not found anything specific to my situation. Any help would be appreciated.

How long ago did you transfer your domain to Shopify? For better visibility, could you please share your store URL?

When transferring your domain, were you able to follow our transferring a third-party domain to Shopify guide? During the domain transfer process to Shopify, your domain’s A record and CNAME record are set to Shopify’s default domain records.

For the Action Required and Set up in progress message next to your domain, this indicates you need to verify your domain. You may not be receiving the verification email and will need to change the email address associated with the domain to something that’s not associated with the custom domain. This can help go through the verification process and automatically verify the email address once done.

To change the email address, this can be done directly within your Shopify admin, Settings > Domain section and select the domain in question. Once the domain is selected, you should see a drop-down menu labelled Domain settings. Select Edit contact information. Going forward, you’ll need to edit the email address to an inbox you currently have access to, at which time the verification email will be resent. I’ll share a screenshot below on how to locate this section in your Domain section.
