I embedded an Instagram reel using the embed code provided by Instagram into a blog post. It looks fine on desktop, but on mobile it looks like the width is too big. When viewing on mobile, the embedded reel extends past the set page width. I thought it would be responsive, but it’s not. I’ve tried editing the width within the Instagram embed code, but it doesn’t work. Any thoughts on how to tweak this to fit mobile? Thanks for checking, but the problem isn’t on a desktop browser. The problem I’m encountering is on mobile.
It looked fine to me on my iphone!
I was wondering, how did you set it to play on your page? When I tried embedding, it only says ‘view in instagram’, I’d love to get it to play on my blog page!
Thanks, I’m glad it looks ok on mobile. As for setting it to play on page, that’s part of the Instagram embed code. I just copied the code from the post (you can find it on the top right-hand corner of any post, click the three dots and select embed code).
