A week ago we connected transsy to our site to make it multilingual. Then there was a problem, the standard language for shopify broke into two languages. Now the product name is in Russian, and the description is in Ukrainian. (Everything was standard in Russian). The transi support service said they would contact you, as if they were powerless. How can we solve this problem so that we do not have to manually correct all the content? Can I roll back everything in one click?
@Duntau Do you have theme backup? Also did you try to remove that app?
Hi there @Duntau !
I’d like to share some info and advice with you here that should be relevant to the case at hand.
The first point I’d like to share is that third-party apps are supported by their developers, rather than by us here at Shopify.
If an app developer is unwilling or unable to provide support for their product, that may be a breach of our Partner program terms.
Should you wish to file a complaint about a Partner, you can do so using this form.
In terms of any changes this app has made to your theme, it may be possible to revert changes to .liquid files in your theme code.
Whether this is applicable here would depend on how the third-party app works, if it has edited your theme’s code or if it’s working via your theme’s language options.
If the app edited your theme’s language, you may need to manually edit that language using the language editor option.
I do wish there was more we could advise with certainty here, but we’re not able to provide support for third-party apps and services which should, as outlined above, be supported by their developers.
Should the developers in question not get back to you to provide support for their app, you have the option to file a complaint with regard to that Partner.
Let me know if there’s anything else we can help out with from here or if you have any further questions!
