Hey, First time poster here. I have been using Shopify since 2015 and rarely have issues. Recently my newsletter sign up has stopped working. When a customer tries to sign up they get this error Request failed reCAPTCHA validation. I don’t think I have changed anything. I am using the warehouse theme and my website is herd360.com. Anyone have any insight?

I’m getting this today as well, even when I just tested it yesterday. Could possibly be a known issue?
I’m having the same issue, right when I’m testing a new theme. I think it has something to do with recaptcha. I turned the option off in store preferences for recaptcha and my contact form works.
We are having this issue as well, and this seemed to work. We don’t necessarily want to keep it off forever, so would love to see a longer-term solution!

It’s the first option:
Enable Google reCAPTCHA on contact and comment forms
I simply unchecked the box for now. Will check back tomorrow and see if it’s been corrected.

There was an issue earlier today that lead to a “failed reCaptcha validation” error when customers tried signing up for the Newsletters or when using the Contact forms. A fix for this issue was deployed around 5pm EST today, and we’ve seen stores recover from this issue. Looking at the timestamps in this thread, it seems the issue was happening before the fix was deployed. Nevertheless, could each of you double-check whether the issue has been resolved on your end?
If the issue continues to persist (after 5pm EST), then it looks we’ll need to access your accounts to resolve the issue. Still seeing the issue on contact forms. I even disabled the reCaptcha option in theme preferences, and the error is still happening.

This is occuring for our store as well. Not sure how long the problem has been going on.
I’m disabling CAPTCHA for now, would love to see this fixed.
