How to fix size chart issue for different vendors in Canopy theme?

We use the Canopy theme, and I followed the steps here for adding size charts:

It seemed it was implying if I named a page /vendorname-size-chart when making the size chart, that when the View Size Chart link was clicked on a product page it would open that particular vendor’s size chart. After doing all the steps, clicking the link only opens a tiny box, empty except for the X that closes the modal.

Am I missing a step that isn’t detailed in the above link to make this work?

I don’t currently have something on our site for you to look, since it’s the end of day and I don’t want a broken link on our store. But I gave all the relevant info: I did all the steps in the above link, the modal doesn’t load any size charts when clicked.

Thanks for pointing out that was in the theme docs. It did make the pop up work, but I also read I’d have to use metafields to use different size charts which won’t work for us since metafields are limited to 20. But I’ll accept your solution since it led me to this answer, thanks!
