Im currently using the debut theme for my shopify store. However whenever i try to add the slideshow to my store, the images are always cut off when i view my store on desktop, but its fine on mobile. How do i fix this so that images are not cut off on both desktop and mobile viewing?

I understand that you’re currently using Debut theme and are trying to add a slideshow to the storefront but the images cut off on desktop only.
The Debut theme slideshow banner sizing should be 1200 to 2000 pixels in width and 400 to 600 pixels in height for images. I recommend finding an image that will work across all screen sizes in order to still keep the quality of images and allow for a better customer experience.
A workaround to fit the images on both desktop and mobile is to navigate to your Online Store > Themes > Customize, theme editor section. Within the theme editor, select slideshow and under slide height select Adapt to first image. I’ll share a screenshot below within my test store for better visibilty.
Since the site is designed to be responsive and the image container will change depending on the size of the screen it’s loaded on, I recommend editing the existing images to some different sizes to include or remove whitespace, to see if you can achieve the look you want.
