Thanks for the info mate, much appreciated. Just another example of Shopify’s poor user experience… I come across something like this every freaking day. Rather than focus on marketing I spend hours fixing issues like this! Sometimes i feel that I should have stayed on big commerce!

Do you recommend a bulk editor that I can use? I have over 25,000 items to go thru. Also I was told to take the automatic updates off of Google Merchant Center, is that correct?
