I have tried to contact Shopify support to ask if they can customize the checkout page. The issue I am facing is the checkout value shows three digits after the decimal. If the order is for 10,000 it becomes 10,000.000 on the checkout, shipping, and billing pages.
The store is already configured with no decimals but it does not change the values on the checkout and billing pages.
Has anyone resolved this issue remaining on Shopify basic plans? if so how? I have exhausted all options. I would really appreciate any help.

The Online Checkout is not made accessible for edits and/or adjustments for security purposes. Due to this, currency formatting would fall beyond what is possible using the Theme Editor, our Shopify Experts, and/or external developers. This is in place to protect both you and your customers to ensure PCI Compliance Standards are met.
Similarly, the formatting available under Settings > Store Details for currency also falls beyond what is possible for customization. The format in which the currency populates is generated automatically when the shop currency was selected. I can however, share your feedback with our Developers regarding decimal placing and consistency throughout the storefront. We are always looking for ways to improve the platform and appreciate your input!
