How to fix tracking issues on a new online store?

I am a new Shopify store owner and have been in the process of getting to know the process. I have bought 2 items from my store to get a feel for what the customer will experience when they purchase from my store. I have discovered that I am not receiving tracking information at all. It only says in process from the product page. I installed DSERs thinking that would help populate a tracking number, but it didn’t help at all. According to my orders page the fulfillment is in process by AO. Is AO a Competitor with DSERs or do I need them both? How do I set up my store to have tracking for my products? Any help would greatly appreciated!

Order tracking will only be provided once the order ships from your supplier. When did you place the order? Additionally, have you not only placed the order on your store, but also through the supplier?

While I am not entirely knowledgeable on DSers, most third-party dropshipping platforms require you to use their app to purchase from the supplier. Essentially the way it works, is you receive an order from a customer, then you place an order with your supplier. Have you completed these steps? Also keep in mind that overseas suppliers generally take a few days to ship the order.
