How to Force Hamburger Menu on Stiletto Theme

Hi! I’m trying to force the hamburger menu on desktop with the Stiletto theme but can’t seem to figure out why other solutions aren’t applicable to this theme.

I’ll admit I’m not familiar with liquid and new to Shopify but have tried some CSS - perhaps I’m just just not putting the code in the right place.
