How to get custom pages to actually link to footer menu?

Hi all!

I created custom pages for my footer menu but I can’t get them to link to the actual footer menu pages. Once page is created i go to the footer menu and make sure it’s linked correctly but then it doesn’t actually do that? Am I missing something?

Based on your screenshots and the context you have provided, it certainly sounds like you have set up this link correctly. What I am unable to confirm is if you’re editing the correct menu link - can you clarify it is in fact the footer option?

Furthermore, I wonder if there are any local errors that are preventing your changes from actually saving. Can you try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Try clearing cache/cookies of current browser
  • Try from a different, up-to-date, browser
  • Try from a different network connection

Thanks for your support - really appreciate it! Unfortunately I tried everything you mentioned and it still doesn’t work :disappointed_face:

Do you think I may have done something by mistake? Footer menu is tied correctly to the page etc.

I visited your website, and upon clicking on the privacy policy link in your footer I was correctly re-directed to https://nalyc.com/pages/privacy-policy.

From the link we can see that it is directing to a page that has been set-up with the name Privacy Policy. Are you expecting something else to happen, or are you being re-directed elsewhere? Perhaps you can provide me with a screenshot reference of your experience so I can better understand.

Also, I love the bright and lively colors on your site! It was a breath of fresh air and a lot of fun to browse your website.

I’ve checked with about 10 other computers and no one is redirected to the privacy policy, instead the link takes them to “The Concept” page. How do I fix the redirect so it shows the page correctly? https://nalyc.com/pages/privacy-policy

Ah, okay I think I may know what is going on. Though I am directed to the correct privacy policy link, I also see that the actual content of the page shows “The Concept”.

If my theory is correct, when you visit the link in the footer does your address bar show you are going to the privacy policy link, but the content still shows concept?

Have you double checked that the actual Privacy Policy page you set-up is showing the right information? I think that is the real issue here, but if you find that doesn’t match please connect with our Support team right away so we can log in and assist.
