I’m unable to find tools on the homepage editing tool navigation. And I’m not able to see my logo on my website even though the theme settings show my logo as the current one on the page. I can’t see it on the page itself. I also cannot find a way to get rid of the text in the header there’s no way to edit that text that I can find anywhere.
I need actual help with how to use webpage building tools on Shopify, 'cause my attempts are failing flat. I’m very disappointed and beyond frustrated as to why I’m uploading my logo, it’s showing in theme settings, yet there’s still text sitting in the header instead - that I can’t seem to replace.
I need someone on a messenger or video to help. How am I supposed to get stuff by step hands on help here in this page? I could answer your questions but how are you going to be able to help me without seeing what’s actually happening? I am technologically illiterate with these tools I can use the tools with the tools are not doing what it says it’s doing. So I don’t know how you’re going to help me here. I’m asking for somebody to actually contact me. I don’t have resources and I feel left out here in the Wind because I can read these articles as many times as I want but they’re not helping me perform actions in real time with the technology. I can follow the directions but when they don’t do what the directions say they’re supposed to do how am I supposed to get help then
Whatever pops up whenever I go to the Shopify theme setting thing it’s right there on the left hand side when you go to the homepage settings to modify your homepage
To be honest here I am following the directions from the theme articles and the videos and it is still not doing what the tools are telling me that it’s supposed to be doing when I insert the logo into the tool save it and refresh it’s supposed to pop up on my homepage in the header section it’s not doing that. So that’s my first problem. Secondly there’s text sitting in the header section there’s nothing on the left hand side for that section that lets me erase the text I can’t highlight it there’s no text field on the left hand side when I click in the header section on the page itself. The stuff supposed to be easy but it’s not easy when it doesn’t work and I don’t know what to do to make it work
And I’m not quite sure how you’re going to help me from some remote please when you can’t even see my screen and you don’t know what’s going on. I was hoping there is a generous soul out there that will actually work with me personally. Not through some Forum where you can’t see what’s going on my screen to help. I’m smart enough to just follow printed directions and for it to come out the way that it says it’s supposed to.
This forum is mostly used by other store owners and coders. We can offer advice to try to be helpful, but usually if one needs more intensive help or for someone to take over the task of website building, they will need to hire someone to do it for them. The best most of us can do is offer links, guides, or tips. I am sure if you posted a job offer, several people could reach out to you.
I definitely suggest hiring a web designer for your store. We have a similar issue at my place of work— management needs design work done, but doesn’t know how to achieve it themselves. That is where employees like me come in. I believe you are allowed to post job listings on this forum; there are many designers that could assist on a paid basis.
