How to get image transparent background in sections?

Hi,

I’m using debut theme.

I upload images that originally have transparent background but after uploading, they turn to be with white background.

What can I do to solve it?

Thanks

@Ben1000

can you please give screenshot for that section code

Hi @KetanKumar

Here is an example from my homepage, but I want a solution that will be valid for all sections and not one specifically.

Thanks

I would also like to know how to solve this problem!

Hi,

Uploaded images are already in white background.

Please check it again.

Thank you.

Hi @Denishamakwana

What that means, that on Shopify we can never have different united background?

E.g assuming I have red section’s background. I upload pictures with transparent background. do I need to make the picture’s background red too?

Thanks

Hii

What I said is that the image which is used in site is not transparent.

I think by code we can not make transparent image from image which have background.

@Ben1000

can you please just upload png image no white bg

Hi @Denishamakwana I believe there is a smarter solution than that, it means that big stores are customized each photo and section, which not making sense and lead to a lot of time-wasting and extra effort.

@KetanKumar

As been told, it’s not possible, this is the reason why I wrote this post

@Ben1000

sorry bt your image not transparent

Hi @KetanKumar

This is after Shopify changed this photo to be with a non-transparent background. It was originally with transparent background. You are welcome to upload a picture to any theme with transparent background and see that it change automatically to non-transparent.

I have to find a solution to this problem, anyone?

@Ben1000

sorry for difficult if possible to add me staff account so i will check backend your theme code and let you know

Hi @KetanKumar

There is no need to be in staff account, it’s about a code you can add to the bottom of the theme.css and maybe also to theme.js and theme.liquid in any Shopify free theme.

If you know what should I add, let me know
