How to get Indented, color coded code in the "Show HTML" view of a product page

Is there anyway to view the content of the HTML editor in a more standard way..i.e. indented? color coded would be stellar.

In the ‘edit code’ area where we can alter css files, liquid files, etc, the editor is great…just looking for that for product pages, pages, blogs.

Something akin the html editors that have been around for 20 years now..

You can try VSCode with the Liquid extension. But without something more technical, you will have to copy and paste between it and Shopify’s theme editor. Though maybe this is okay for you.

I have been using Shopify for years, and this has been frustrating. Not sure why they built it differently than the EDIT CODE area. Oh Well.
